In 2010 the Royal Navy Helicopter Display Team, "The Black Cats", proceeded with a much-needed revamp of its image.

With the popularity of the team having grown and become firmly established on the airshow circuit the team were in a position to direct sponsorship funds towards the procurement of high-quality and exciting literature and PR material.

The initial challenge was obtaining high-resolution professional images of the team in action to use for printing and reproduction. I approached David Mackey and macksaviation.com on behalf of the "Black Cats" and invited him to cover the team at Biggin Hill Air Fayre. Thus started an on-going relationship through 2010, 2011 and into 2012.

macksaviation.com provide first-class photography of all aspects of the team at work, such as flying displays, display practices, the engineering team and the aircrew meeting the public. David Mackey's Black Cats photography features in the team brochure, posters, post-cards, website and are regularly used in press releases, the airshow organisers brochure... the list goes on!

macksaviation.com has been invaluable to the PR of the team in the last 2 years and the team very much look forward to continuing to work with David Mackey through 2012 and beyond.
